Larry Shudak and Tom Presnak, both of UL, will present a class on transmission technologies (communications pathways) for fire alarm systems and on Supervising Stations. Many of us have had quandaries over the listings and appropriateness of IPDACT’s, DART’s and cellular transmission techniques/components with few having the knowledge to answer the questions appropriately. Larry has been working for UL for decades within the fire alarm side while Tom has worked with UL in the Central Station certification et al side.
