Presentation: Phased Occupancy of Large Residential Buildings

The presentation will cover phased occupancy of large residential buildings.  The topics will include the reasons for phased occupancy, the types of structures involved, how to maintain fire and life safety for a phased occupancy project, and possible pitfalls and hazards.  The presentation will leave time for discussion at the end.

Guest Presenter: Mark Ferraresi, PE, Jensen Hughes

Mark Ferraresi is a fire protection engineer at Jensen Hughes with 10 years of experience.  He has provided general fire and life safety consulting, fire sprinkler design, high-piled storage consulting, and fire-rated construction consulting services.  He is a registered engineer in California, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Nebraska, and Texas.  Mark works on both commercial and government projects, primarily with the Department of Energy.

Mark lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Rachael, and his dog and horse. In his free time, Mark enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and cooking.
