As environmental regulations continue to reshape the fire protection industry, engineers and owners are faced with important decisions regarding clean agent fire suppression technologies. This presentation will compare inert gas and synthetic clean agents, review their performance characteristics and applicable codes and standards, and discuss the evolving regulatory landscape affecting fluorinated suppression agents. Attendees will gain practical insight into selecting, specifying, and maintaining clean agent systems in an environment of increasing regulatory scrutiny and sustainability considerations.

Guest Presenter: Eileen Sellers

Eileen Sellers is the Technical Business Development Manager for North America at Fire Eater and brings more than 25 years of experience in the fire protection industry. Eileen began her career in 1998 with Simplex and has since developed a unique combination of technical expertise, customer engagement, and business development leadership. Her background includes more than two decades supporting fire protection contracting organizations as well as experience in manufacturing, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry's challenges from both the supplier and end-user perspectives.

Throughout her career, Eileen has collaborated with customers, engineers, contractors, and facility owners to address complex fire protection challenges and implement solutions that enhance life safety, support regulatory compliance, and protect business continuity. She is known for her ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and practical business objectives, helping organizations identify and implement effective fire protection strategies.

In her current role with Fire Eater, Eileen provides technical guidance and support for clean agent fire suppression solutions throughout North America. Her expertise spans inert gas and synthetic clean agent technologies, applicable codes and standards, and the evolving regulatory landscape affecting fire suppression systems. She is passionate about helping clients make informed decisions that protect people, property, and critical operations.
